She is absolutely phenomenal. She is a true and honest gem and cares so deeply about her clients. Our engagement photos were so incredible and beautiful, and didn’t think anything could top that. That was until we got married and she sent us a sneak peek at our photos. We were so blown away with her work. She captured everything with such detail and care. She was my rock on my wedding day and made me feel so much more comfortable and relaxed in all aspects of the day. It sound so cliché but I truly cannot put into words how incredible she is. We could not have been more thrilled with how our wedding photos turned out thanks to Jo and her assistant Lauren. Not only that, but Jo was a delight to work with from the first time we spoke to her and especially all throughout the wedding day. We didn't have a wedding planner or any idea what we were doing, and she helped us block out our timeline and things went so smoothly and perfectly. They also made us (and our family and friends) feel calm and comfortable on the day and it is neither of our favorite things to have our picture taken, and came up with many creative ideas for shots that made things fun. She has such an incredibly laid back and calming presence. In fact, when she arrived to my venue on my wedding day, I was in the middle of a minor weather/rain related crisis but Jo was able to calm me down & gave me some solid advice. She was able to prompt us for more formal photos so that we felt comfortable and knew what we were doing, but she also captured so many magical candid moments. Looking at the photos takes me right back to the day, those special moments, and those emotions. That is something I will cherish forever. I would genuinely give Jo 100 stars if I could. I reached out to her initially because her pictures are beautiful and a photographer friend of mine recommended her. I got my beautiful photos. But more than that I got an incredible experience on my wedding day. Jo has an incredible ability to be both totally chill and right on schedule and organized. It was easy to trust her. She understood what I was looking for and made it happen. She was kind and patient with me, my husband and our family. We were very nervous about the photo taking part of the day because we haven't done a photoshoot before. By the end it was so much fun, I would do it again. If you want a super chill photographer who will make you feel comfortable and take amazing pictures with ~moody~ vibes, then Jo is your girl! She took photos at our elopement and at our wedding reception at the Cambridge Butterfly Conservatory and did a great job. I don’t love posing and being photographed but Jo helped us feel comfortable. We got sneak peaks of our photos within 2 days and all the photos within 3 weeks, which we appreciated.
